Found over in Devil’s Razor, The Feeble and the Furious is just one of many side missions players can embark on in Borderlands 3. In this particular side quest, Lizzie asks the Vault Hunters to take her dad out to run some errands. During the entire conversation, though, she makes several allusions to the Vault Hunters offing her father. So, what happens if Pappy dies? Can he even die? Can you kill him? Here’s what you need to know. Though this is a side quest, we would like to warn readers that this post does contain spoilers for The Feeble and the Furious side quest. Continue reading at your own risk.
After you set out on your journey to help Pappy complete his errands, you’ll quickly learn why Lizzie has such an issue with him. Not only is he constantly rude, but he just talks down to the Vault Hunter (and Lizzie as well) constantly. If you want to complete the quest fully, you can complete the various steps to help him run his errands.
However, if you want to complete this quest as quickly as possible, simply let a group of bandits destroy Pappy’s Jalopy, which will end the quest and allow you to return to Lizzie. Now, we’re not really sure if you yourself can shoot Pappy and kill him, considering how the game registers allies, but it is just as easy to drive up to a group of bandits and let them do the deed for you.
No matter how you choose to complete The Feeble and the Furious, you’ll be rewarded with a hefty chunk of cash. Aside from changing how long it takes to complete the quest, it doesn’t look like letting Pappy live to the end or letting him die makes a difference at all. This, like the Rhys’ mustache question, is just one of the choices that give you a little freedom to decide how you want to proceed, without impacting anything overall.
Now that you know how to complete The Feeble and the Furious, and what the difference is between the quest’s two endings, head back over to our Borderlands 3 guide and FAQ page for more help.
