The Monolith puzzle in Remnant: From the Ashes is sure to stump a lot of players. With several pressure plates and spawning enemies, it’s not immediately clear what needs to be done. However, if you want to get your hands on the Void armor, you’ll absolutely want to work out the Monolith puzzle.
To solve the Monolith puzzle on Rhom in Remnant: From the Ashes, you must walk on the correct pressure plates in the right order. Depending on your game world, this order may vary, but there’s also a chance it’s the same for everyone.
In the event your sequence is different to what’s shown below, you will need to use trial and error to figure it out.
Begin by making your way to the Monolith crystal. Stand on the metal platform out in the open and find the first pressure plate. You must then walk onto the next pressure plate, until you have walked across enough for the metal plate to hiss open.
If you stand on an incorrect pressure plate, enemies will spawn and the puzzle will fail. You can try the puzzle again, but you must first kill the enemies that spawn and rest at the crystal. Resting at the crystal resets the puzzle, allowing you to have another go.
Once the correct order has been input, the metal plate will descend and you can enter the underground chamber. Follow the corridors up to a main pedestal and press the interact button. You will be able to craft all three pieces of the Void armor set for a small cost.
The Void armor's mod is called Vengeance which has the following effect: Taking enemy damage increases damage dealt for 13 seconds, stacking up to 3 times. Wearing one, two, or three pieces rewards 4%, 8%, and 13% more damage, respectfully.
With the Monolith puzzle solved and the Void armor unlocked, you can move on to solving the bell puzzle on Yaesha or unlocking the Beam Rifle. Be sure to check out Shacknews’s Remnant: From the Ashes page for more helpful guides.
