Microsoft is bringing a wide variety of new games to Xbox Game Pass over the next few weeks.
Among them are some very exciting additions, such as Devil May Cry 5, Blair Witch, and several other titles that you won't want to miss out on. They'll be launching alongside the new Xbox beta app that was previewed at E3 2019, which will let you play some of the new additions on PC where appropriate.
Previously, I reviewed Devil May Cry 5 and awarded it a 9 out of 10. Here's what I thought:
"Devil May Cry 5 is an excellent action game. It's an even better Devil May Cry, perhaps the best the series has seen just yet. It's aesthetically pleasing in ways I never thought possible for the series, and chock-full of love for the fans, oozing out of every pore. From the throwback naming of demons that hearken back to the earlier days of the franchise to the style that drips out of every orifice, this is the best that Devil May Cry gets and more. Some fans may find the open-ended conclusion a bit frustrating, but I found it the perfect way to start laying groundwork for additional titles in the future. And judging by this game's quality? We're going to need them sooner rather than later. Trust me on this."
Blair Witch was first revealed earlier this year during E3 2019 at Microsoft's press showcase.
As far as Blair Witch goes, it's not yet out yet, but you'll be able to check it out later this month when it debuts. It certainly looks like a crazy spooky good time, and likely much better than the most recent movie that hit theaters. If so, then it's accomplished its most important goal. The seems pretty creepy, at the very least.
Devil May Cry 5 will be hitting Xbox Game Pass for Console as well as Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on August 19. Blair Witch will debut on Xbox Game Pass for Console, Xbox Game Pass for PC, and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on August 30. l.
