Virginia man with TV head seen leaving CRTs on people's porches

Live in Virginia? You may wake up one morning to the bizarre sight of a CRT TV on your front porch or lawn.

That's what happened to a group of folks living in Henrico, VA found. Around 60 homes were delivered a little something-something in the form of various old TV sets on their porches – only the way they got there is even weirder than the fact that they did in the first place.

Thanks to some doorbell footage captured by one of the homes involved in the strange incident, we now know who to blame (thank?) for the TV gifts: a man wearing a jumpsuit with a TV on his head.

He walks up and places the TV gingerly on the porch, then makes a quick getaway, all while wearing the computer headpiece, which I kind of want to buy one of. And it's kind of awesome, honestly.

"He wants to be known as the TV Santa Claus," said Jim Brooksbank, who owns one of the homes involved in the stunt. "I can't think of any technology or political point that would be valid here. It's just a senseless prank. We got an old tube-style TV, 13 inch."

But it appears there have been several people caught dropping old TVs off at various residences, as reported via different footage shared of the incident. What's it about? What's the suspect looking to gain? Maybe they just want to offload some TVs. If that's the case, let's chat. I've got a hankering for some Trinitrons I can take off your hands, TV Santa.
