Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is not a sequel to the Modern Warfare series. The game will actually work as a reboot, completely starting things over once more for the franchise. Of course, it looks like some of the series' more iconic characters, though no official details about the singleplayer campaign have been revealed just yet.
