Whether you’re completing Solstice of Heroes armor, chasing a Triumph, or something else, you’re going to need to know what Challenges are in Destiny 2. Considering Bungie changes the naming conventions of things, it can be difficult to keep up with what everything means. Thankfully, Challenges are likely something you know, but you’ve been calling them by a different name.

What used to be called Milestones are now called Challenges in Destiny 2. These daily and weekly tasks are offered from numerous sources in the game and all of them reward either Powerful gear or Pinnacle gear. You may recognize these as the tasks used to get to max power fast whenever a new expansion hits Destiny 2.
Most of the main vendors have Challenges that require you to complete bounties for them. In the Tower you can find the following Challenges from the Vendors:
Some vendors will cycle in and out of offering bounties for you to complete for Challenges. Make sure you look at the Map of the Tower to see who is offering a reward for completing one of their Challenges.

There are also Challenges for various raids and other end-game activities like dungeons. Make sure you're completing these each week for more armor, weapons, mods and Power.
