Looking for something new to play for August? Time to jump on the PlayStation Plus train.
This month, players will be able to download and play the futuristic racer Wipeout Omega Collection and World War II strategic shooter Sniper Elite 4 for the low price of free. Both games will become available starting August 6 and will be free until September 2 for those with PlayStation Plus memberships.
The Wipeout Omega Collection comes with Wipeout HD, Wipeout 2048, and Wipeout HD's Fury expansion, as well as online multiplayer and local racing just in case you need to show off your skills. You can hit the racetrack with PlayStation VR as well, and it's typically $20 if you buy it from the PlayStation Store.
Sniper Elite 4 couldn't be much further from the genre, as you take on the role of a sniper named Karl Fairburne who's tasked with taking out high-profile targets as he engages in the Italian Resistance. There's single-player, co-op, and multiplayer for plenty of sniping fun.
Right now, you can still pick up July's games, Horizon Chase Turbo and Detroit: Become Human, which will be available until August 5, so you've got until Monday to add them to your collection. Don't forget to make them yours and add them to your library!
