One of the most common questions gamers need to ask before making their next purchase is about how much time they must sink into it. Games are bigger and longer than ever before, and some people just do not have the time to waste dozens, or even hundreds of hours in a single title. With that in mind, let’s look at how long it takes to beat Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
According to an interview on the French website JeuxVideo, Fire Emblem: Three Houses will take 80 hours to complete with just one of the three houses. This does not include skipping vocals or cinematics. Doing the math on completing the game with all three houses means players must be ready to potentially sink 240 hours into Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
While 240 hours is a huge amount of time to spend in a single video game, it’s not crazy compared to the other offerings out there. Many games give players the chance to make different decisions along the path to extend the game’s value and offer reason to replay it. Not everyone will be able to drop 240 hours into a game, and that’s fine. At least Fire Emblem: Three Houses is a Nintendo Switch title that can be taken on the go and played at each player’s convenience and judging by Josh Hawkins’ Fire Emblem: Three Houses review, it’s worthy of a playthrough.
