Publisher THQ Nordic and developer Airship Syndicate have announced two new editions for the upcoming Darksiders Genesis.
The Collector's Edition of Darksiders Genesis will run $109.99, and it comes packing a copy of the game, a Strife figurine, SteelBook case, art book, soundtrack, and a sticker sheet.
The more expensive Nephilim Edition is $379.99, and it's limited to 5,000 units worldwide. It comes with the Darksiders Genesis game of course, but also the official Darksiders board game, Darksiders: The Forbidden Land.
For the first time in the series, Darksiders Genesis, originally revealed at E3 2019, lets players take on the role of Strife, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. This game won't be a single-player title either, at least if you don't want it to be. You can team up with another player for co-op gaming with one person taking on the role of Strife and the other War as you work to clear Diablo-like dungeon areas. It's a far cry different from the Darksiders you may be used to.
Darksiders Genesis is headed out for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC later this year, but there's no concrete release date just yet. There's also no preorder information on when you can snag one of these special editions, so you'll have to keep an eye out for them to go live so as not to miss them. We'll try to keep you abreast of the situation as well.
