After years of giving players the chance to relive their favorite gaming experiences, the Xbox One backward compatibility program is no longer growing. Having revealed the final batch of games coming to Xbox One backward compatibility in June, Microsoft announced that no more backward compatible games would be coming to the console. As such, it's now possible to compile a final, complete list of all Xbox One backward compatible games.
The following list is split into two categories: The first concerns itself with original Xbox games made available through the Xbox One backward compatibility program, while the second focuses on the massive number of backward compatible Xbox 360 games.
Here is the full list of original Xbox games that are made available through the Xbox One backward compatibility program, as featured on the official Xbox website.
If you thought there were plenty of original Xbox games on the backward compatibility list, you may not be ready for the list that follows. As opposed to the simple 41 titles from the original Xbox generation, there are a whopping 575 backward compatible games from the Xbox 360 generation — over a quarter of the total games released for that system throughout its life.
It's sad to see that the library of games made available through the Xbox One backward compatibily program won't grow any further, but at least we still have all these great original Xbox and Xbox 360 backward ompatible games to enjoy.
