The latest Legend of Zelda adventure is a bit different than your standard tale. Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer featuring The Legend of Zelda blends the gameplay from Brace Yourself Games’ 2015 hit with the Legend of Zelda world, offering a new take on the classic story. You’ll still find plenty of useful items around to pick up, which can allow you to do different things like move boulders, and even swim. In this guide we’ll show you how to get the Zora Flippers in Cadence of Hyrule, which will allow you to swim in deeper waters.
While the Flippers are definitely a handy item to have in Cadence of Hyrule, they aren’t an item that you’ll need to acquire. In fact, if you aren’t careful, you can actually play through most of the game before even realizing that these items are something that you should get. However, if you do get the Flippers, you’ll be able to swim in deep water, giving you access to more areas in the world.
To find the Flippers, you’re going to need to wake up the Zora Prince. You can find this character in the Lake Hylia area, look for the icy structure and then make your way inside the cavern just across from it. Inside you should see several ghosts as well as the sleeping Zora Prince. You’ll need to wake the prince up if you want to unlock the Flippers.
To wake up the Zora Prince, you’re going to use bombs to defeat all of the ghosts in the cave. You should be able to pick up some bombs from a merchant, or even in the jars that can be found inside that very same cavern. You’ll need roughly five bombs to take down every ghost. Once you’ve defeated them, an enemy will appear that you will need to defeat as well. Complete this task and the Zora Prince will awaken and reward you with the Zora Flippers.
Now that you have the Zora Flippers, you can complete the Frozen Grotto and continue playing through the game. Return to our Cadence of Hyrule guide for more help and be sure to follow Shacknews on Twitter for more help.
