Each year as we roll through E3, new games are announced, and previously revealed games get a release date. The latter is the case with The Outer Worlds, an upcoming role-playing video game from Obsidian Entertainment that will come out on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC platforms. Today, we’ll share with you all the details of The Outer Worlds release date.
The Outer Worlds release date is October 25, 2019 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It will be available in both retail stores and online portals. For PC players, it’s the Epic Games Store. For console players, hit up your specific on-console store to grab the game.
Now, normally a pre-order of a game will land you some goodies, such as early access a few days before the official release date. As of right now I see no such listings on the Epic Games Store or even The Outer Worlds official site. Thus, our current understanding of the release date for The Outer Worlds is that it is coming out October 25, 2019 for all platforms.

Obsidian Entertainment, the developers behind The Outer Worlds, are also responsible for games like Fallout: New Vegas, Pillars of Eternity, and Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire. If that’s not a resume to earn some consideration, I’m not sure what is.
