There were loads of new announcements in Nintendo's recent E3 2019 Direct presentation, including some fresh details for fans of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. In addition to the new Dragon Quest characters landing in the game, Nintendo has also revealed that a selection of new amiibo are soon to release, including Smash Ultimate amiibo for Snake, Simon, Chrom, Dark Samus, and more.
The first batch of new Smash Bros. amiibo as set to release on September 20. At that time, players will be able to purchase amiibo for Snake, Ivysaur, and Squirtle. Come November, a new wave will release including Simon, Chrom, and Incineroar. Finally, sometime in 2020, Nintendo will release the Dark Samus and Richter amiibo.
What else is new from Nintendo at E3 2019? Loads of things! Alongside new Dragon Quest fighters, Banjo-Kazooie was also announced for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The Seiken Densetsu Collection will be coming West as Collection of Mana, and original release Seiken Densetsu 3 has been remake in Trials of Mana. Animal Crossing: New Horizons was also shown, but was unfortuntaley delayed into 2020. Finally, Nintendo announced that a proper sequel to Breath of the Wild is now in development.
