Last week saw the official reveal of the new Call of Duty Modern Warfare game, which is set to release later this year. Fans were expecting to get another trailer, and possibly some gameplay footage during this year’s E3 2019 conference, though the title was mostly absent from the show’s proceedings. Where was the new Call of Duty Modern Warfare trailer at E3 2019, and can we expect to see more from the game later this week?
With PlayStation sitting out this year’s E3 conference, Call of Duty fans were expecting to learn more about Infinity Ward’s upcoming game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare during Sunday’s Xbox press conference. Unfortunately, the conference came and went without any news of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare at all, which has left many fans a bit perplexed.
While it might seem like the new Modern Warfare was absent from E3 2019 this year, Infinity Ward actually sat down with Geoff Keighley to talk about the upcoming title Sunday, during YouTube’s E3 show. To see the interview with Infinity Ward you’ll need to head to the 6 hours and 44-minute mark of the YouTube E3 show’s replay, or click here to be taken directly there.
Of course, we’re still set to see more out of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare throughout the week, and we’ve included a schedule of their planned visits below:
When? | With Who? | Where? |
Tuesday, June 11 at 11:15AM PDT/2:15PM EST | Infinity Ward Art Director Joel Emslie. | E3 on Twitch |
Tuesday, June 11 at 12:20PM PDT/3:30PM EST | Infinity Ward Art Director Joel Emslie. | IGN at E3 |
Tuesday, June 11 at 3:00PM PDT/6:00PM EST | Infinity Ward’s Narrative, Gameplay and Art Teams. | E3 Coliseum Panel |
Wednesday, June 12 at 10:00AM PDT/1:00PM EST | Infinity Ward Art Director Joel Emslie. | Facebook at E3 |
While we haven’t seen a new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare trailer just yet, it’s still possible that Infinity Ward will throw something out before E3 comes to an end later this week.
