Microsoft Flight Simulator revealed at Xbox E3 2019

Microsoft Flight Simulator is coming to Xbox One and PC. This was announced at the Xbox E3 2019 press conference, where Microsoft Flight Simulator was one of more than 60 games detailed. However, it might have been the most beautiful of them all.

While gamers were only given a release window of 2020 for PC, and a later date for Xbox One. Microsoft Flight Simulator will be part of the Xbox Games Pass service, so there’s that to look forward to.

In a video coming in at just under two minutes, Microsoft Flight Simulator looked as gorgeous as any game rolled out during the Xbox E3 2019 presentation. It featured various aircraft and destinations, including the Space Needle in Seattle, but gamers will be able to fly anywhere on the planet.

What was missing from the announcement was mention of support for flight sticks, which I’m assuming is an absolute must, and any details on possible VR connections. While I’ve never gotten into flight sims personally, I have a friend who will riot if he’s not able to play Microsoft Flight Simulator in VR using his flight stick.
