Although some of the big dogs of the industry have opted not to host a traditional conference this year at E3 2019, there’s still plenty of companies looking to drop news the old-fashioned way. One of these companies is Limited Run Games, the distribution team behind titles such as Celeste, Golf Story, and Yooka-Laylee. With Limited Run brining so many games to physical media, their service is often valued by collectors and other folks who prefer discs/cartridges to a digital download.
Limited Run Games took to their social media to announce that their E3 2019 conference will be held on Monday, June 10 at 12 PT/3 ET. This squeezes them between PC Gaming Show and Ubisoft’s conference. If you’re interested in watching the keynote, Limited Run Games will be streaming it on their Twitch channel. If you’re wondering what could be shown during this livestream, so are we. Limited Run Games specializes in taking games that are primarily on digital markets and getting them a physical release. Therefore, we can expect to see announcements about some recent digital releases getting put on shelves soon. Most titles released under Limited Run are only available for short periods of time and in limited quantities (hence their namesake). Therefore, you can expect for some of the announcements to go up for preorder right after the stream.
