EA Play 2019 held an action-packed thrill ride of a live stream earlier today from the Hollywood Palladium in southern California. Shacknews was covering the news as it broke from the event as well as on the ground with hands-on previews of the games, but we figured why not break down all the reveals and gameplay trailers. Please take a look at EA’s version of an E3 2019 extravaganza.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order revealed an extended gameplay trailer at EA Play 2019. Star Wars fans were treated to a nice preview of the upcoming game from Apex Legends developer Respawn Entertainment. Check it out!

Respawn Entertainment also announced Season 2 of their battle royale title Apex Legends will kick off July 2. The developers also revealed new playable character Wattson during the EA Play 2019 live stream. Wattson is a female character who was introduced in a video titled "A Father's Letter." Please take a look.
Wattson can set up an electrical fence barrier. She controls the flow of battle with high-voltage barriers and a pylon that blocks incoming ordinance. Season 2 also sees the introduction of a Ranked mode. But that wasn't all, Respawn also revealed the L-Star Plasma-fueled EMG. Players can scoop up the fully automatic rifle in care packages.
DICE unveiled some plans for the next year of Battlefield 5 maps. EA Play 2019 featured a 35-minute segment.
Battlefield 5 will be taking the game to the Pacific Theater this fall as the team at DICE tries to extend the game's life into 2019.
Electronic Arts showed off some slivers of a new gameplay mode called Volta Football coming to FIFA 20 this year. Check out the official EA Play 2019 trailer.
FIFA 20 will also feature some new 11-on-11 gameplay changes including new ball physics.
Madden NFL 20 is ditching their Longshot campaign in favor of a new Face of the Franchise QB mode. Players can also look forward to the introduction of run-pass-option plays.
EA Play 2019 wrapped up with some news from The Sims 4. That game is still kicking it and players are about to be treated to Island Living in the upcoming expansion which hits consoles next week and PC this month.
