Grandia + Grandia II HD Remaster is still on its way out, but it's gone through some housekeeping first.
Publisher GungHo Online Entertainment clarified that it's actually had a name change, to Grandia HD Collection, and is coming "soon" to Nintendo Switch.
Grandia HD Remaster will launch on PC the same day as the Switch collection as well, and the Grandia II Anniversary Edition that's already out on PC will be retitled Grandia II HD Remaster.
The enhanced version of Grandia will feature enhanced details to its UI, sprites, and texture art as well as additional visual enhancements for its original cinematic videos. There's also widescreen support and customizable resolutions on PC, with Steam cards and Achievements for PC users as well. It will include both English and Japanese audio, too.
For Grandia II, most of the same features will be included, though there won't be gamepad and keyboard support with remappable controls for the PC version just yet.
GungHo teased additional information about the game scheduled for E3 2019, which is just next week. You know we'll be tirelessly bringing you all the news and updates you can handle, straight from the show floor (and our homes). Additional details should be announced about the upcoming collection then, so keep an eye out for more.
