Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 special edition preorder

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is the latest Infinity Ward release that hearkens back to the original 2007 release. Confusing naming conventions aside, Modern Warfare 2019 is slated to launch this October, and players can place a preorder for the standard or special editions of the game right now. Read on to learn more about what's included in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 Operator Editions and the bonuses players can earn by placing a preorder.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 | Special editions and preorder bonuses

There are several different editions of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 that will release alongside the game's launch this October, and all of them are available to preorder today. Players who like extra bonuses will be drawn to the Operator Edition as well as the Operator Enhanced Edition, which include various digital items and even a few extra Call of Duty Points. Serious fans may also be interested in the GameStop exclusive Precision Edition. All of these are detailed below.

The Digital Standard Edition costs $60, and will include the Tactical Knife in-game item. In addition, all preorders are eligible to receive one Prestige Token in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.
The Operator Edition costs $80, and comes with the aforementioned the Tactical Knife as well as the Operator Pack, which includes the All Ghillied Up Operator Pack, the Crew Expendable Operator Pack, and the War Pig Operator Pack. Again, preorders are also eligible for the Black Ops 4 Prestige Token.
The Operator Enhanced Edition costs $100, and includes all the bonuses from the base Operator Edition as well as 3,000 Call of Duty Points. As with the other editions, preorders for the Operator Enhanced Edition are eligible to receive a Prestige Token in Black Ops 4.
Finally, also at $100, the GameStop exclusive Modern Warfare 2019 Precision Edition offers all of the bonuses in the Operator Enhanced Edition, but includes four special real-world bonuses: a Call of Duty Endowment (CODE) Calling Card, a KontrolFreek Controller Skin, a set of KontrolFreek Performance Thumbsticks, and a special steelbook case.

Preorders for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 are live over on the Microsoft Store, the PlayStation Store, and Battle.net. The Precision Edition is exclusive to GameStop, and is available in both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One variants.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 will release on October 24, 2019.
