Looking forward to seeing what Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have up their sleeve when it comes to the upcoming The Avengers Project? You've got a lot shorter wait than you may have guessed.
Square Enix unveiled the official name for its game, which is now simply Marvel's Avengers, as well as noted that the game will indeed be making its first appearance during Square Enix Live E3 2019. This is the first bit of new information we'll have had about the game in general since we learned of its existence, and the official reveal promises to be a real doozy.
As far as what type of presence the Avengers game from Crystal Dynamics will have at E3, it's unknown. We know it kicks off on June 10 at 6 PM PT, but we don't know if we're going to get some sort of video presentation or possible hands-on opportunities. Meanwhile, the official Crystal Dynamics website has yet to be updated with additional information at this time.
"The Avengers project is being designed for gamers worldwide and will be packed with all the characters, environments, and iconic moments that have thrilled longtime fans of the franchise,” Crystal Dynamics’the site reads. “Featuring a completely original story, it will introduce a universe gamers can play in for years to come.”
Whatever the case may be, we're delighted that we're finally getting a real look at the game beyond glimpses and snippets that don't really tell us much. It's going to be an exciting time for Avengers fans around the world.
