Dauntless is a brand-new free-to-play monster hunting game available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. If you’re planning to dive into the full release of Phoenix Labs’ co-op RPG, then you’re probably curious to know, is Dauntless cross platform? Well, we’ve got all the answers you need.
If you’ve seen these articles from us in the past, then you’re probably already getting ready to frown and maybe even shed a little tear. Hold up, though. Let’s not jump there just yet. Dauntless isn’t a game you’ll need to cry about, as the game has launched with full cross platform support on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
Dubbed “One Dauntless”, the game features complete cross-play capabilities, allowing players on any of the three consoles listed above to team up and work together to hunt down massive beasts. It’s a huge accomplishment for a game to support cross platform play at launch, and Phoenix Labs has provided an exceptionally cool game for players to dive into.
These aren’t the only consoles that will support cross platform play, either. In fact, Phoenix Labs has plans to bring Dauntless to both Nintendo Switch and mobile devices, as well as offer cross platform play between those additional consoles as well. One Dauntless was a daunting thing to pull off, but Phoenix Labs managed to deliver, and they’re continuing to work hard to deliver an even bigger cross platform experience.
No matter what console you’re playing the free-to-play monster hunter on, Dauntless offers cross platform play for everyone. According to Phoenix Labs, you can also connect your accounts together and swap between playing on your console or PC, allowing you to experience Dauntless from every available platform without any trouble added to the equation.
