There are two new mobile phones from OnePlus, the OnePlus 7 and the 7 Pro, and both are geared to compete directly with flagship offerings from other manufacturers. The OnePlus 7 Pro offers a zippy Snapdragon processor and loads of modern bells and whistles, all at a price point hundreds of dollars lower than users would pay for similar Samsung or Apple offerings. If you're looking for a powerful new phone that won't break the bank, the OnePlus 7 Pro may just be the choice for you. Learn more about it with the specifications, features outline, pricing details, and preorder information featured below.
OnePlus has a reputation among mobile phone manufacturers as offering high-end hardware and specifications at budget-friendly prices. Like David conquering the goliath, OnePlus has managed to pull consumers away from other major manufacturers by offering a largely competitive product at a distinctly competitive price point.
Not only does the OnePlus Pro 7 go right after the market share of other flagship devices, it also has a pared-down sibling that's even more budget friendly. Offering the same CPU and GPU setup with a slightly smaller screen and battery, the OnePlus 7 is something of a follow-up to the previous OnePlus 6T, released just last year. Unfortunately, it looks like it won't be coming to North American markets.
Here are the full specifications for both the OnePlus 7 Pro and the new OnePlus 7 as detailed over on the official OnePlus website.
Beyond the OnePlus 7 Pro and the baseline 7, which isn't planned to be sold in North American markets but will likely be available online, OnePlus will also be offering a 5G model called the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G. We're still waiting to hear more details about this specific model, but it appears to be functionally similar to the 7 Pro, except that it includes a Qualcomm X50 modem.
The OnePlus 7 Pro will go on sale exclusively at T-Mobile starting on May 17. Preorders for the device will open at 10 a.m. on that date over on the OnePlus website.
As for the OnePlus 7, the company intends to begin offering the pared-down model in European territories starting in June. The OnePlus 7 Pro 5G doesn't appear to have any price or preorder details, but we expect to learn more about the device from OnePlus sometime soon.
Both the OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 Pro offer flagship-level features at budget-friendly price points. North American mobile users who want to scoop up the latest device will be able to place a preorder starting on May 17.
