Game network profiles are a great way for players to showcase their favorite titles, which is why there are loads of fresh user avatars featured on the PlayStation Network store. Many of them are free, while other "premium" offerings go for a couple of bucks. Fortunately, prices are subject to change, and players will now find no less than 32 Red Dead Redemption 2 PSN avatars available to download and use entirely for free.
How can you scoop up a free Red Dead Redemption 2 PS4 avatar? The answer is simple: Just head over to the PlayStation Store, either through a logged-in web browser or through the Store option on the PlayStation 4, and head over to the avatar section. Alternatively, users can run a search for Red Dead Redemption 2, where the results should be largely populated by the new suite of free user pictures.
If you still haven't picked up Red Dead Redemption 2, what are you waiting for? Are you holding out for a PC port of RDR2 like the rest of the computer gamer demographic? Or maybe you're hoping to hear more about plans for Red Dead Online before you make a purchase?
Whatever the case may be, RDR2 is not an experience to be missed. In his official review, Shacknews Managing Editor Bill Lavoy spoke about how Rockstar Games' Old West release kept his attention long after other games would have overstayed their welcome:
"Open-world games are becoming bigger every year. It’s not uncommon for them to have over 100 hours of content. Most are unable to make all that content feel important and engaging, though. This is not a problem in Red Dead Redemption 2. It wouldn’t surprise me if I ended up spending 200 hours on a single save, then loading it back up in a few months to do it all again. Whether I’m chasing the thrill of a daring train robbery, or the serenity of a solo camping trip, Red Dead Redemption 2 is an open-world game I will return to time and time again."
The PSN Red Dead Redemption 2 player avatars are now free, so there's really no reason not to pick them up and showcase a little Western flair. To stay fresh on the rest of the game, be sure to stop by Shacknews' Red Dead Redemption 2 walkthrough and guide.
