Pokemon Go fans have plenty to look forward to when out in the wild searching for new 'mons to add to their collection.
Niantic has surprised fans by unleashing the Legendary Sinnoh Lake trio, including Azelf, Mesprit, and Uxie into the wild. That means all you have to do is walk around to find them like you would regular Pokemon, no strings attached.
This is actually the first time Legendary Pokémon have been available to capture in the overworld rather than via raids. The official Pokémon GO Twitter account tweeted the news, with silhouettes of each Pokemon represented in the announcement photo. Of course, according to Serebii, they're extremely rare – you're not just going to walk outside and find one chilling in your backyard, most likely.
The Pokemon, according to some players, have typically been seen near bodies of water, given that they're the Legendary Lake 'mons, after all. It doesn't seem as though there's any prerequisite for finding them otherwise, so you could get extremely lucky if you're hanging out near the ocean or stream or some such and happen to come across one of the Legendaries.
Have you seen any of these Pokemon on your travels? Be sure to let us know in the comments below, because this is big news for fans of the game, no matter how you slice it. These bad boys are quite rare, so seeing them just unleashed like this is a very interesting situation.
