Another id software .plan update as Todd Hollenshead updated his with some news on a new Commander Keen game we are going to hear about "in the not too distant future".

To pile on the Keen renaissance (with a nod to 3DR, Blues, etc.): look for upcoming *new* Keen news in the not too distant future. That's all I will say for now. Also, TA should be on shelves today! W00t! We're going to be running a bunch of servers at id and I already put up a Terrain server last night. Have fun.

And for reasons unknown we didn't update about this last night but it has 10 years since Commander Keen was released, which marked the formation of id software. There is a informative and entertaining article on the history of Commander Keen at the 3D Realms website.
