Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes is back with another new DLC pack, this time pleasing Bad Girl fans everywhere.
The latest Travis Strikes Again DLC is called "Vol. 2: Bubblegum Fatale," and it's headed out for Switch owners tomorrow on April 18. The DLC pack comes with Bad Girl as a playable characters after you complete the main game, two skills specific to Bad Girl, a "Killer Marathon" level expansion, a new skill unlocked after completing Killer Marathon, and a new scenario for "Travis Strikes Back" in-game.
You can check out the trailer below, which is full of fanservice – just the kind you like to see from the No More Heroes series. It looks just as over the top and exciting as Travis himself, so we can't wait to see how it plays out. Even though the base game was disappointing, it's still cool to see Bad Girl being brought back into the fold.
Fans are no doubt pleased that Bad Girl is back, considering she's part of the reason Travis and his new companion went on their journey to begin with, which you'll be more than familiar with if you played Travis Strikes Again.
I previously reviewed Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes and awarded it a 5 out of 10. Here's what I had to say about it:
"As an unapologetic Suda51 and No More Heroes fan, it’s such a letdown to have to pen these words after finally, finally seeing one of my favorite franchises resurrected on the Switch. While I dug absolutely every facet of the game's aesthetics and the fact that I was finally able to get more No More Heroes after such a long wait, I didn't quite want it in this format. While it was clear at the start that this wouldn't be a core entry in the series, it's also bereft of much of what makes No More Heroes such an unforgettable and classic game in the first place. Technical issues, strange gameplay decisions, and an overall lackluster series of features make Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes an unworthy placeholder for the next entry in the series."
Can't wait to pick up the new DLC? Try it out tomorrow when it's available exclusivley on Switch.
