A new video ad for Universal Games’ Fast & Furious Takedown has quite a bit for fans of the series to drool over. Filmed using stop-motion techniques, the short trailer blends the game and reality together using the newest die-cast line-up from Mattel’s Spring 2019 assortment.

In the new trailer, fans can watch as Dominic Torretto’s die-cast Dodge Charger evades missiles from an attacking helicopter. Featuring some appearances from other notable Fast & Furious vehicles, like the Ford Escort RS1600 and the Nissan Skyline GT-R R34, the trailer is pounding with action and stop-motion goodness.

The die-cast version of Dominic Torretto's Dodge Charger is on full display in the new stop-motion video for Fast & Furious Takedown.

All of the cars showcased in the new ad are also available in Fast & Furious Takedown as well, giving fans the chance to get behind the wheel of these famous cars themselves. Fast & Furious Takedown is available as a free to play game on the iOS App Store and players can also pick it up from the Google Play Store as well.

Those already playing Fast & Furious Takedown can look forward to a new update later this spring that will introduce new “Hero Events”, giving them a chance to unlock additional legendary vehicles from the film franchise. These vehicles include the Toyota Supra, the Fast & Furious “Flip Car”, the Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport, and many more.

If you’re interested in picking up any of the die-cast cars shown off in the video—like the Ford Escort RS6100, Nissan Silvia, Nissan Skyline GTR (BNR34), or the Lamborghini Gallardo—then you can head on over to the nearest Walmart, Target, or any other specialty store that sells Hot Wheels and pick them up for $5.49 (MSRP).
