During today's Inside Xbox there were several exciting announcements regarding games and upcoming DLC, but one of the more major reveals was in regards to Project xCloud. The platform claims it will allow Xbox One owners to play their games on various mobile devices via cloud platforming. While the xCloud platform isn’t quite ready for a full launch, it looks like there will be public trials that happen later this year.
During the livestream show an Android phone with an Xbox One controller attached to it and paired to the phone via Bluetooth was brought onto the stage for a live demonstration. It appeared that the host was indeed playing Forza live on the show via Project xCloud with no latency whatsoever.
There are no further details just yet on when we can expect Project xCloud to start its public trials, but we’ll be sure to keep you up to date as new information comes to light. In the meantime, you can catch up on all of today’s big Inside Xbox news right here at Shacknews.
