Looking for a new addition to your arsenal of Xbox One controllers? Try the Phantom White Special Edition on for size.
The Xbox Wireless Controller - Phantom White Special Edition was just announced during the latest Inside Xbox stream, and it's coming this April. For $69.99, you can nab the second controller in the company's Phantom Series, after the Phantom Black Special Edition. It blends a smoky gray at the top of the controller with a translucent white and gold mechanical components underneath with an opaque matte white.
The buttons, triggers, thumbtacks, and bumpers feature a glossy white with grey accents, and the back has textured grips to see you in the game. The controller, like the rest Xbox has to offer, is compatible with the Xbox One "family" and includes support for a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth connectivity, and custom button-mapping. It also comes rocking 14-day trials for Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass, just in case you need access to either service to go along with your new controller.
There's a wide variety of reveals happening during today's Inside Xbox stream, so make sure you keep it locked to Shacknews for all the major happenings, and check out the stream for more. Also, if you're into this controller, there are a wide variety of colorful ones out there on the market already, like the Sport White version, which debuted last summer in June 2018. It later made its way to stop shelves on July 31 for $69.
