Apex Legends players are chomping at the bit to see what Respawn has in store for the game's Season 1 Battle Pass. In fact, fans are so eager to learn more that they've stopped waiting for news and begun digging into the game's actual code to see if there's any new information sitting around. Unsurprisingly, there is, and new leaks have shed more light on the Apex Legends Season 1 Battle Pass menus, buttons, icons, and other basic features.
These new details once again come to us through the Apex Legends News & Leaks Twitter account, which has posted a series of datamine-based leaks offering loads of further information about the Battle Pass. In this instance, some of the code points to functional menu items, including icons, buttons for pages, and even a cosmetic skins function.
These menu-oriented leaks extend to callouts for the Battle Pass, including an icon for what's labeled as the free Battle Pass, the paid one which appears to be called Diamond, and a "details_box," which may be a pop-out menu talking about the perks of upgrading to the paid Apex Legends Battle Pass.
The Apex Legends News and Leaks account was even able to uncover some code which revealed the existence of a Night Mode, a fan-requested feature for the game that would make for a most welcome addition, even if it isn't related to the Season 1 Battle Pass.
Last week we reported on another leak which revealed the existence of new Apex Legends characters, notably including Wattson, Jericho, and Rosie. In addition to those reveals, the leak also included details about two new Apex Legends weapons.
We still haven't heard any official word on when the Season 1 Battle Pass for Apex Legends will arrive, but these leaks do at least show that the folks at Respawn Entertainment are cooking up something big.
