PlayStation Plus is getting a slew of new free games this March, including one that people have been waiting for.
March's free PlayStation Plus games will include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered and The Witness, for starters. Modern Warfare Remastered is the same version that came out in 2016, only you don't have to buy a game to get access to it. It's got all the maps and action you remember from the 2007 title, only now it's in full HD for a new generation to enjoy. It features dynamic 4K on PS4 Pro when played on a 4K display, so ti looks better than it ever has.
The Witness is a puzzle platformer from Jonathan Blow that first debuted back in 2008. Eight years in the making, it finally released in 2016, and took players on a journey throughout a puzzle-filled island with challenging and enigmatic riddles to solve. Both games will be up for grabs from March 5 through April 1. You can download Hitman and For Honor, February's PlayStation Plus games, until then.
Unfortunately, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita games will no longer be available going forward, so make sure you take the time out to download these games before they're unavailable as of March 8.
If you already have a wide variety of PS3 and Vita games in your library, you won't lose access to them and they'll remain a part of your library as long as you're a subscriber. You'll also get to keep your game saves and other PS Plus benefits.
There are some additional PS Plus specials going on right now, too. You can pick up Yakuza Kiwami 2 for 40% off and Hollow Knight and Just Cause 4 for 50% off. These specials will be available until March 5, 2019.
