Some things just go better with Western music. That's why you might want to pick up the Red Dead Redemption 2 soundtrack when it finally debuts.
The Music of Red Dead Redemption 2 is going to be releasing this spring, and if you haven't heard the game's wide breadth of different artists exploring Western tunes, blues, and Americana, now's a great time to do so.
Red Dead Redemption 2 features a multifaceted score composed by Woody Jackson, the same person who originally worked on the first Red Dead Redemption installment as well as L.A. Noire and Grand Theft Auto 5. Rockstar pulled out all the stops on this release, recruiting over 100 musicians like Queens of the Stone Age vocalist Josh Homme as well as QOTSA's Jon Theodore and Mikey Shoes. It also features names like Nas, D'Angelo, Rhiannon Giddens, and a variety of other musicians.
In fact, the entire production was quite star-studded, including several talented folks who have been featured on various high-profile projects.

Unfortunately, we don't have a concrete release date beyond "spring" for the soundtrack, or any other details beyond a nebulous "spring" release. At any rate, you may want to start saving up those bounties so you can pick up the soundtrack when it finally does hit store shelves.
