Dear mouse users: A legend returns! Logitech G is officially reviving the MX518 wired gaming mouse with some modern internal enhancements, but keeping the original glossy design intact. The MX518 features a classic design with more responsive performance and can be pre-ordered now for $59.99.

Logitech celebrated the reveal of the new MX518 with the video below, which includes the following description for the device:

As one of the most-beloved gaming mice ever, MX518 has inspired legions of fans around the world to ask Logitech G to bring it out of retirement. And we heard you. We pulled the original tools from the Vault and meticulously restored them—right down to the original glossy keyplate. It’s the classic, comfortable shape you know and love, now with modern components that perform to today’s advanced standards and a new, updated Nightfall color scheme.

The new version of the beloved MX518 is enhanced with new tech, including the HERO 16K sensor, Logitech's most accurate sensor yet. The HERO achieves 400+ IPS across the 100-16,000 DPI with no smoothing, filtering, or acceleration. It also includes eight programmable buttons and can store five different profiles so you can customize it for all your different experiences.
