In celebration of the ten year anniversary of Galaxy S mobiles, Samsung has revealed the Galaxy S10 series of premium smartphones. These mobile devices boast an impressive AMOLED display, peak performance, and brand new camera technology.
For those looking to take the plunge and get a new Samsung Galaxy S10, a bit of research will be required first. There are four units to choose from, each varying in price and specs, but each as ground-breaking as the last.
With four different models to choose from, consumers should have no trouble picking the phone that matches their needs.
The Galaxy S10 is the standard model on which all the others are based. This will likely be the main item consumers will want, as it’s not the smallest and cheapest but also not the bulkiest and most expensive. The Galaxy S10 has a 6.1-inch display, three cameras on the back, as well as a MicroSD slot. Prices for the Galaxy S10 start at $899.99 and will increase for extras and add-ons.
The Galaxy S10e is the smallest of the models on offer and the cheapest. It offers a 5.8-inch screen, dual cameras, as well as a couple of memory sizes to choose from. This is a great choice for those who want all the new features of the Galaxy S10, but don’t mind having some stats dialled back. Prices for the Galaxy S10e start at $749.99 and will increase for extras and add-ons.
The Galaxy S10+ is the second-biggest model of this new line of smartphones from Samsung. The screen measures in at 6.4-inches while the storage options range from 128GB to 1TB. This is an excellent option for those who want the biggest bang for their buck, but who otherwise don’t have a 5G network in their home state. Prices for the Galaxy S10+ start at $999.99 and will increase for extras and add-ons.
The Galaxy S10 5G will only be available through Verizon Wireless for the first half of 2019, at which point other providers will no doubt be able to sell it. The benefit of the Galaxy S10 5G is, unsurprisingly, its 5G capabilities. However, it does boast the largest screen of the line-up, four cameras on its back, and some improved charging functions. One point to note is that, unlike the other models, this one does not include a MicroSD slot.
