Hollow Knight: Silksong is Team Cherry's next haunted kingdom

The long-awaited sequel to the hit Metroidvania is finally revealed! Team Cherry has announced Hollow Knight: Silksong, the full-scale follow up the critically acclaimed title that launched in 2017.

The development studio is also rewarding the dedicated fan base that helped crowdfund Hollow Knight with free copies of Hollow Knight: Silksong. If they supported with over $10AUD, they can choose to get either a PC or Nintendo Switch copy at launch. If you supported by crowdfunding for multiple copies of the original, you'll also get multiple copies of Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Announced via an official Team Cherry post, Silksong started coming together right after the launch of Hollow Knight. The original plan was DLC for the first title, but Silksong evolved into an experience "too large and too unique to stay as DLC" for the three-person development team. Hollow Knight: Silksong will launch on PC and Nintendo Switch and there's potential to expand to other platforms.
