Daemon X Machina turned heads when it was announced during the E3 2018 Nintendo Direct. In the new Direct for February 2019, the game's producer revealed that gamers can get hands-on time with the Daemon X Machina Prototype Missions demo that is going live today for Nintendo Switch.
The Daemon X Machina Prototype Missions will be available on the Nintendo eShop for a limited time and includes four missions for players to test out. Players will be able to engage in combat, take on a boss, and generally get a feel for the game. The developers are sending out surveys hoping to gather information that will assist in the development of Daemon X Machina.
If you're unfamiliar with the game, Daemon X Machina is a new action shooter featuring mechs. The producer who spoke during the February 2019 Nintendo Direct, Kenichiro Tsukuda, is well known for the Armored Core series of games, so he and his team have plenty of experience with mech-based action titles. The mechs in Daemon X Machina are called Arsenals and they can be customized with different weapons on their arms, shoulders, and back. The Nintendo Switch game will feature online and local multiplayer modes at launch.
