Crackdown 3 is soon to release, meaning it's time for PC players to check out the game's minimum and recommended system requirements. While the power requirements outlined by the developers at Xbox Game Studios aren't exactly steep, there may be a few surprises in store for players who haven't upgraded their computer in a while. Find out if your system is up to snuff by glancing over the PC system requirements for Crackdown 3.
An examination of the Crackdown 3 PC requirements show that the game requires a machine with only a small amount of grunt. A third- or fourth-generation i5 processor is recommended, coupled to a system with at least 8GB of RAM and hopefully a relatively late-model GPU. Here are the full details as provided through the Crackdown 3 Microsoft store page:
With all things considered, the Crackdown 3 system requirements shouldn't rule out many PC players. Given that the recommended specs call for a fourth-generation i5 and a GeForce GTX 1060, it's pretty safe to say that most gamers with machines and components from the last few years should be able to run the game easily. Those with higher-end specs, even if they're high-end by 2017 standards, still shouldn't have any problem running the game at high or even ultra settings.
Does your machine meet or match the Crackdown 3 minimum or recommended PC system requirements? If not, it might be time to track down a new GPU or a few extra sticks of RAM.
