Just like with Far Cry 5 before it, Far Cry New Dawn includes work from several talented voice and performance capture artists. Some of the voice actors in Far Cry New Dawn were present in Far Cry 5, which makes perfect sense given that New Dawn is billed as a "standalone narrative sequel." Beyond a few familiar names and faces, there are also several new characters and voice talents to be found in Ubisoft's latest release, and we've got the biggest names featured below. Keep reading to learn more about the performance capture artists and voice actors in Far Cry New Dawn.
Modern technology has allowed game developers to make use of much more than an actor's voice. As such, some of the voice actors featured below also provided performance and/or facial capture for their respective roles. Unfortunately, the IMDb page for Far Cry New Dawn doesn't distinguish between voice acting and performance capture. With that said, the page does at least outline which actors voice which characters, including a few surprise and returning voice roles.
The role of The Father is once again played by Greg Bryk, returning to voice and performance capture for Joseph Seed following the release of Far Cry 5. A Canadian actor known for his work in films Saw 5 as well as Saw 3D, Bryk has also starred in a number of television series such as Frontier, Caught, Mary Kills People, Bitten, and XIII: The Series.
The voice of new Far Cry protagonist Mickey is that of actor Cara Ricketts. Known for her work in TV series Titans, Ricketts has also made appearances in shows like Orphan Black, Anne with an E, and Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. Aside from her work in Far Cry New Dawn, Ricketts has also voiced characters in Far Cry Primal, Far Cry 5, and Assassin's Creed Odyssey.
Mickey's twin sister Lou is performed by Leslie L. Miller, an actor with a number of TV and video game credits. Most might recognize Miller from her work in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia or New Girl, and she's also starred in shows like Key and Peele, Adam Ruins Everything, and Grey's Anatomy. Beyond Far Cry New Dawn, her video game credits include roles in Kingdom Hearts 3, World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth, and Red Dead Redemption 2.
The character of Bean in Far Cry New Dawn is played by Canadian actor Tod Fennell. Known for his work in films like The Spiderwick Chronicles and End of the Line, Fennell has also starred in TV series like The Festival, Mental Block, Lassie, and Are You Afraid of the Dark? Though Far Cry New Dawn is his latest video game credit, he also lent his talents to Transference, Ghost Recon: Wildlands, The Division, Shape Up, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Thief, and four different Assassin's Creed releases.
