Hungry for a look at Far Cry New Dawn? We've got a heaping helping of some delicious new footage to share with you, with all the fixings!
We've also got our brand new preview ready for you to check out, so make sure you head on over and give that a look to see what direction we're heading in with the latest addition to the Far Cry series. What's this new entry all about, anyway? Shootin' and lootin'?
Far Cry New Dawn has an interesting narrative at its center, as it's set 17 years after the events that took place in Far Cry 5. It follows a devastating nuclear event known as "the Collapse," which made the world, quite obviously, a dangerous and unsavory place to live in. The survivors left trying to eke out a respectable existence are constantly plagued by the Highwaymen, roving bandits lead by sisters Mickey and Lou. It's basically terrible all around for everyone involved. You're going to try and make it a little better, at the very least, and possibly find out more about what happened to Joseph Seed, Far Cry 5's antagonist, while you're at it.
There's a wide, open world at your disposal in Far Cry New Dawn as well, and we've got footage of what it looks like while you're tearing up the road on a bike at night below. We're in hot pursuit, working to reach the Old Train Yard, so prepare for a bumpy ride. There's also plenty of carnage later in the video, with a crossbow interlude, and some indoor exploration.
Curious how you can outfit yourself to tackle the apocalypse? Our look at Perks like Lock Picking, Mechanic, Hotwire, Grapple, Tactical Binoculars, Advanced Takedowns, and Well-Armed should get you going. There's a wide selection of different ways to equip your character and ready them for the harsh conditions out there in the world.
Currently, Far Cry New Dawn is scheduled for a February 15 release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Make sure you stay caught up on all the newest release dates with our 2019 guide.
