There were a ton of high-end PC components on display at CES 2019, including a suite of new devices geared toward gaming enthusiasts. NVIDIA was one of the many companies to show up, and the team had a special selection of new gaming laptops powered by RTX GPUs meant to present the ultimate blend of power and portability. Shacknews was able to get a closer look at each of these new systems, including new offerings from Asus, Acer, and MSI. Check them out in the video below.
The first laptop on display is the Asus ROG Zephyrus GX 531, an ultra-slim offering that pairs an eighth-generation i7 processor to a GeForce RTX 2080 Max Q GPU. Like its predecessor, the GX 53 1GS, the new model also offers a 15.6-inch 144hz "IPS-level" display with a 3 millisecond response time and a keyboard with support for Asus' Aura Sync RGB lighting.
Also showcased is the Acer Predator Triton 500, the latest in the line of Acer's popular Predator series of gaming laptops. All the usual gaming laptop highlights are hit, including the 144hz display and RGB-enabled keyboard, and the latest system also includes the latest GeForce RTX 2080 Max Q GPU.
The NVIDIA team also touched on the MSI GS65 Stealth, the Razer Blade 15 (which includes a 4K panel), and the Alienware M15. All of the systems shown off packed in the latest portable-friendly RTX GPUs, complete with gaming-focused displays and other fun goodies. More information about each of these systems can be found through their respective manufacturer's websites or through the official NVIDIA website.
