High dynamic range or HDR is one of the biggest growing trends in the gaming market. Beefed-up consoles like the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X may make a big show of 4K resolutions, but HDR compatible games offer a a visual flair that really makes details pop. Like with 4K games, users require the proper hardware as well as an HDR-enabled display in order to use the feature. Still, not all modern games support HDR, even ones optimized for the PS4 Pro or Xbox One X. That's why we've set out to create a complete list of HDR compatible games for 2019, including the growing list of games and software with HDR compatibility on the PC.
Aside from 4K-enabled graphics, the biggest draw to the PlayStation 4 Pro is the device's compatibility with high dynamic range. With that said, not every PS4 Pro game with 4K graphics includes support for HDR and vice versa. The following list includes PlayStation 4 games that specifically include HDR support regardless of 4K support or extended PS4 Pro functionality. Do note that some of the following games have not yet been released, though the developers have indicated that they will launch with HDR support.
