Two AMD items from The Register. Looks like they are testing a new silicon to battle the heating problems they are going to run into if they are gonna crank the Athlon speed even higher. This new "pure" silicon supposedly allows for better thermal conductivity. And then there's some info on the Athlon Palomino, which will have an improved core.
