During today’s opening ceremonies at Blizzcon 2018, Blizzard took the opportunity to share the release date for WoW Classic. The re-imagining of the vanilla World of Warcraft experience will be available to play for all subscribers starting in the Summer of 2019.
Blizzcon attendees will have the opportunity to play the WoW Classic demo on the convention floor. Blizzcon Virtual Ticket holders can download the demo now via Battle.net and can play through November 8.
Blizzard also promised new details on the Tides of Vengeance content update for Battle for Azeroth and will offer a full rundown of the details during the upcoming panel at Blizzcon. They also released a new lore cinematic for fans.
