The 2018 Hearthstone Global Games are set to conclude this weekend at BlizzCon. The top eight teams in the world have advanced and only one team will stand tall as the Hearthstone Global Games champions. They will represent their country as the top team in the game.
The Hearthstone Global Games prize pool has risen to over $400,000 and counting. The prize pool will continue to rise, thanks to HGC Cheer, in which viewer-donated Twitch Bits factor into the final prize. The top 48 teams are eligible for prize money. Here is how the initial money will be distributed:

The opening Group Stage will be contested in a dual elimination format on Friday. The top two teams in each of the two groups at the end of Friday will advance to the single-elimination semifinal bracket on Saturday.
