If you're looking for some trippy psychological thrillers to follow in the coming months, look no further than Bandai Namco and Dontnod Entertainment's strange Twin Mirror.
Twin Mirror's latest trailer explores a bit more of protagonist Sam's plight as he works to figure out what's going on after he wakes up one morning in his hometown with a bloodied shirt and what looks like the accusation of murder. He's been brought home to the town of Basswood for a funeral, but it looks like he's going to be in for a lot more than what he bargained for while staying there.
We haven't yet heard a lot about the game, or at least as much as we would have liked, but the newest trailer explores some truly weird concepts, such as Sam's "mind palace," what can only be described as a "refuge for his psyche" and the "secret weapon" he uses when probing crime scenes. You also get a glimpse of "The Double," or what looks like an evil manifestation of Sam himself.
Yeah, we're not quite sure what's going on either, but it looks like a lot of fun. Twin Mirror is heading out to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam in Q1 2019.
