Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice developer Ninja Theory is working alongside Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust and its charity Head to Toe for a new scholarship aimed at budding mental health professionals.
Senua's Scholarship is named after the heroine of Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice and will support college students working toward professional mental health qualification training, and assist them in their career path going forward.
“CPFT’s Recovery College East does incredible work in the mental health community and through our collaboration on ‘Hellblade’ we had the privilege of learning what it can be like to live with psychosis,” said Ninja Theory commercial director Dominic Matthews. “We’re very happy to be supporting the college in this way and look forward to meeting the very first recipient of the scholarship later this year.”
The team will begin taking applications in December, and the scholarship announcement was made to coincide with World Mental Health Day, which just occurred on October 10. You can check out a special documentary Ninja Theory released about Senua's condition along with more information about the scholarship above.
Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is currently available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
