Destiny 2: Forsaken will now include the previous two expansions for new buyers

Bungie and Activision have made it easier for new or returning Destiny 2 players to experience the game’s post-launch content. Starting October 16, players who buy the Forsaken expansion pack will also receive the previous two expansions, Warmind and Curse of Osiris. Previously, Destiny 2 players who wanted access to the complete post-launch content were required to purchase a separate expansion pass.

Bungie made this move to streamline the process of playing the game. It helps newer players join parties without having to first determine which pieces of content must be purchased for the group to be compatible with each other.

Destiny 2 veterans who already own and play the Forsaken expansion will be given some bonus items as a reward for their loyalty and commitment to the franchise. The in-game items will arrive some time in December and will include the Tiger Stripe Black Shader and Veterans Nameplate emblem. A pair of exotic emotes and some consumables will round out the digital gift basket that Bungie is bestowing early Forsaken owners.
