How to download and install Ring of Elysium on Steam

Battle royale games are all the rage in 2018 after PUBG and Fortnite set the market ablaze with their launches last year. Entertainment giant Tencent Games has been hard at work preparing their take on the genre, Ring of Elysium, and it has been made available to all this week. After a lengthy test period that covered this past summer, Ring of Elysium is available to download for those who’ve been itching to give it a spin. If you find your interest piqued, here’s how you download and install Ring of Elysium on Steam.
How to Download Ring of Elysium
To get started with downloading Ring of Elysium, you’ll need a free Steam account. Once you have a Steam account and the Steam client installed, navigate to the Steam store front page and type Ring of Elysium into the search bar on the top right hand side of the window. An entry for Ring of Elysium will pop up with a Free to Play designation. Click this entry to go the the Ring of Elysium store page.
On the Ring of Elysium Steam store page, click the green “Play Now” button to install the game to your PC. A new window will pop up and inform you of disk space requirements and the installation location. Click next and Steam will begin downloading and installing RIng of Elysium to your PC.
Once the download is complete, you can find the game in your Steam Library window within the Steam client, or by double-clicking the Ring of Elysium icon that is placed on your desktop once the installation is finished. This will launch the game and you can then create your character. Once you complete these steps, you can jump right into the battle royale action.
