Telltale Games officially states intentions to complete The Walking Dead: The Final Season

The updates surrounding Telltale Games and their intellectual properties have been coming in at a rapid pace and we've got another one to deliver just as the day is wrapping up. The second episode of The Walking Dead: The Final Season comes out in a couple days and, while former devs hope everyone plays the new episode, the remaining episodes were essentially canceled as the company continues forward with a couple other obligations. That may change, as Telltale put out an official statement suggesting episodes three and the final fourth episode finishing up Clementine's Walking Dead saga may be released in some fashion after all.

The state of Telltale's other projects outside of the Minecraft game seems to be pretty much written in stone, but Netflix also wants to finish their Stranger Things game that allegedly fell through with the company. After opening up the doors to teams wanting to work on it, Devolver Digital unofficially applied for the Stranger Things job via social media.

While it is exciting as a fan of the games to potentially see this saga completed, I wonder if any new deals will be worked out to better support the many employees laid off. Stay tuned to Shacknews for additional updates.
