Looks like Nintendo could potentially be making a move to bring some very good games to the Switch, or at the very least the new Nintendo Switch Online service. An eagle-eyed ResetEra forum member noted that Wrecking Crew, Mario Super Sluggers, Rhythm Heaven, and Golden Sun were all trademarked by Nintendo, with applications filed on August 24, 2018.
Now, this doesn't necessarily mean that Nintendo is planning anything with these trademark filings, as it's common for Nintendo to do this quite often. But it could very well mean that there's something new incoming for each franchise, or perhaps they'll be part of the new online service that's going to be rotating games in and out. At the very least, the port potential for Switch for each game is real, and we're about due for a new Rhythm Heaven because Rhythm Heaven Megamix wasn't enough "new" for most of us.
There's not any real accompanying information beyond the fact that these trademarks exist, so hopefully we'll see some kind of announcement, perhaps from Nintendo after today's Nintendo Direct! We'll have to wait and see what happens, but fingers are crossed!
